4-Room BTO - Size: 90sqm

Owners were a young millennial couple with 2 different characters. The husband is a rustic figurine collector while the wife is an amiable lady whom is looking for a simple and cosy home space. Having finally getting their dream home, they are looking for excessive storage, spacious space planning, clean and cozy home. 

 

Our design intent derived a 'formula for this project to visually open the spaces without compromising the accommodations of the space:

Breaking (-) the wall at the study room into the living room to combine (+) both spaces to create (=) a feature display space. 

 

By hacking a window at the kitchen and study room, the living area is visually spacious without compromising the functions in the space. By adding in whites and a textured light oak wood finishing throughout the space, it gives a clean and cosy mood with a subtle rustic mood which brings out the characters of the home owners.
